Kingston - School Report Question and Answers

How would you rate the school's support and welcome/integration of new students and their families, and why?

When we started at the school, covid precautions were still in place country-wide, so we did not get a new family orientation and we weren't even allowed on campus for the first year. It's possible this has influenced our impression of the school, but in general I think no - their integration is not great. You kind of have to rely on the parent WhatsApp groups to learn anything because the school's communication is generally not good, in my opinion. - Sep 2023

Excellent. There are lots of expat kids, and the school does a great job of integrating new students into the routines. - Mar 2017

A-- From the very beginning, the Admissions Director, Tracy, and Student Supports Lead, Lesley, were welcoming and provided both adult and child/peer support for our kids. The teachers were also helpful with the transition and provided emotional support and guidance for our kids when we arrived. - Jun 2016

B. I didn't feel that the administration was overly supportive of us as a family, but the teachers eased my child's transition into a new school. - May 2016
