Are Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) courses available in upper grades? If this is an IB school, is the full diploma required of all students?
No AP but there is only DP for grades 11 and 12. It is NOT a full IB school. - Jun 2018
This is an IB school, but you can choose the full IB, or just certificate courses. All students who graduate will have a Rabat American School Diploma, and then the paths of IB or non-IB are student preference with input from parents and students and teachers. - Nov 2017
IB, the full diploma was required of the entire grade last year with very few course options. Most students took online IB classes through Pamoja. Pass rate for the IB program has been very low, 2016 - 65% and 2017 - 64%. - Nov 2017
IB is available in upper grades. The IB diploma course is offered. All students take IB classes, but they have a choice of full diploma, or certificates. Students graduate with a U.S. High School diploma, whether they take the full IB diploma course or not. - Oct 2016
