Tegucigalpa - School Report Question and Answers

What letter grade (ranging from A, excellent, to F, fail) would you assign to this school based on your overall experience? Would you choose it again?

B. I would still choose it for my daughter that attended, but it is not for my younger daughter who is more easily affected by social pressure. My elementary aged sons would also have thrived here but they chose to homeschool when given the ability to decide for themselves. I have no regrets, either homeschooling or Acton is a total victory in the elementary ages. - Mar 2023

D. We absolutely would not choose it again. - Mar 2023

A! We'd chose AST again and plan to spend 4 years at the school. - Jul 2019

A ... yes we would love to go back so we can be with our kid's classmates. - Sep 2018

A - May 2018

A. We still think about the teachers we had there and what a good experience it was for our child. - Mar 2017

D. Would not choose it again.

My son's developmental delay was NOT caught, even after two years.

It appears that my son was abused, possibly sexually, at the school. Nothing was done about it. Subsequently, my child was diagnosed with acute trauma from the incident. We still do not know exactly what happened. From what I observed, security is lax at Happy Faces, so anything could have happened. (Last year, a gardener left his machete on the grounds. Some children found it and attempted to us it - accidentally cutting a child in the process.) - Jun 2016
