Mumbai - School Report Question and Answers

How is the overall communication between teachers and parents, and the administration and parents? How is communication facilitated?

Excellent. If anything, the school OVERcommunicates. Urgent announcements go out by email and SMS. A weekly newsletter called the Friday Flash goes out every week. There are also fairly frequent emails from the Head of School, Elementary School Principal and the child's teacher. I like knowing what's going on, but you have to read everything close to ensure you don't miss something important. - Sep 2021

Weekly newsletter conveys all communication - Jan 2019

ASB is very organized in communication -- weekly updates from each level are sent out every Friday via email and Google Doc. Teachers email parents on a regular basis. - May 2017

In ES it was good. It could have been a little better in 5th grade but it was okay. In MS- it is very lacking. We have a child with special needs and communication between parent and teacher is key and it isn't there. - Dec 2014

A: Teachers are readily accessible via email and for appointments. Parent-teacher conferences take place 2 times/year and are well attended by families. Teachers are able to spend sufficient amount of time with parents and students during these conferences. - Feb 2014
