Just starting to get some in kindergarten but sent instructions by teachers on how to complete with kids - Feb 2016

We are coming from Germany where we had (much!) more homework both in quantity and in quality. My son likes this change. I'm not sure how this would compare to the U.S. He has about half an hour of homework, mostly worksheets. - Apr 2014
A - Again, this depends strongly on the teacher. What I really like is that all kids get a "Homework Agenda" which is either filled in by the teachers (lower grades) or the students themselves, and has to be signed by the parents every day. This ensures that all kids (and parents!) know what homework is due and that everything gets done. This agenda also serves as a communication tool with the teachers. - Mar 2014
