Amman - School Report Question and Answers
What fine arts electives are available (music, drama, visual arts)?
all of those- I have heard that music is the weakest but my kids don't do it. - Jul 2022
Good drama program. - Feb 2021
Love the individual music lessons added this year. Good plays. Good art classes. My kids even worked with stained glass last year. - Sep 2019
One of the reasons we chose King's Academy over other international schools in the area was the fact that there is a high school orchestra. Not every school has one. She plays violin (although we joke that she is an "eternal second violin," she's up on stage)! She's in the high school musical, and we have already touched on the visual arts in a previous question. - Nov 2018
Violin, piano, drum, and vocal lessons are offered after school. Drama is good. Visual arts are good. They are doing a unit on stained glass at the moment. Plenty of after school activities as well as activities included in the weekly school schedule. - Feb 2018
Top notch music program, including an annual piano performance showcase that includes all skill levels. Drama and dance are also prominent. Art studios have great resources. - Apr 2017

There are many after-school programs, from sports, to music and even a robotics club. The one downside is that the after-school programs can be a bit pricey. - Sep 2015

A. I can only speak to my 1st grader. He has art and music each once a week which seems sufficient enough. I will say I was highly impressed when at the holiday concert the 3rd graders all played several pieces on the xylophone. There is a lot of exposure overall to various instruments which is nice. - Jan 2015
