What are the technology requirements for students? Do they need their own laptops/ipads? How is technology integrated into the classroom and homework?
Students all have to have apple laptops that we have buy. They do everything on google - technology is very integrated into everything they do. - Jul 2022
School encourages use of ipads for some activities but it is not mandatory. We eventually let the ipad go to school understanding that. The teachers seem to lock them up during some of the time during the school day. - Sep 2019
High schoolers need their own laptops. Middle schoolers borrow a laptop. Technology is integrated into the classroom in a very supervised way. The teacher will say, "Laptops closed" when he/she wants all eyes up front. (Picture most classes with kids in their blazers and ties around a table in a business-like setting. Having their own ipad is helpful because some of the reading is done on the ipad. There is some work done on the computer at home and assignments done by middle schoolers are submitted online. Elementary school kids don't use much technology at all for homework. - Feb 2018
