The Hague - School Report Question and Answers

Are students generally challenged appropriately by the curriculum? Please describe any particular strengths or weaknesses in this area. Do you have any thoughts how the curriculum is applied and implemented at this school?

The students are overloaded with work and too often with little or no purpose -- especially in the math department. In both my daughter's Algebra 2/Trigonometry and Pre-Calculus the teachers piled on homework and then didn't even bother to check it. Both teachers were unprepared for class and did not teach effectively. The curriculum is not the problem so much as the quality of teachers. - Dec 2022

YES! Definitely. There are a dizzying array of electives to choose from and even the core classes are quite hard. There are four levels of difficulty in Maths (yes, Maths) and your child will test into whichever class seems the most appropriate for their skill level. - Jun 2016
