Greatest challenge?

ISY needs a complete overhaul in its management team and education priorities. Another challenge with the school is the pay discrepancy among the teachers and faculty members. Locally hired teachers are paid a minimum salary compared to their internationally hired colleagues and the exorbitant salaries paid to senior ISY officials. - Jun 2014


The work load. My teens are not used to having no free time EVER. Second, the required reading content is very "adult" (sometimes with pornographic details) in high school. The books chosen & tests prepared by IB a year in advance, making it nearly impossible for an expat to have a say in what is inappropriate for their teen to read. - Feb 2014


Some teachers are holding the school back. Teacher relationships are poor, everyone knows about it. Some teachers are just too old to connect well to the kids and teacher appropriately. - Oct 2010
