Is the amount and type of homework generally appropriate for the age and grade of the students?

There are assessments which are assigned for a couple of weeks which is in line with the curriculum - MYP. However, in my experience, many teachers are not trained well in the curriculum especially the "reflection" component. Teachers assign tons of reflection papers without any connection to the work students had done before. - Oct 2017
