What accommodations do schools make for special-needs kids?

ACS was not very accommodating for special needs. St Catherine's has "shadow" teachers available for hire. They are hired by the school, but parents pay the cost and the "shadow" teacher sits with the child usually half the day to keep the student focused or works on specific skills and subjects. - Sep 2013
