Weather, cost of living, friendly and beautiful people, gorgeous country with great beaches and sites to visit. - Apr 2015

The weather is great but the economy is in shambles. Because of three official exchange rates (ranging from 6.3 to the dollar to 50) and a black market rate around 100 to the U.S. dollar, there are many things that, if you can find them, will be ridiculously cheap, Venezuela's hyerflation aside. - Nov 2014

Best climate in the world, gas is currently less than two cents per gallon, and the current parallel exchange rate is six times the official rate -- making many products very cheap. It is a beautiful country with many natural resources and variety: beautiful beaches, snow-capped mountains, tropical jungle, and even ranches with cattle and cowboys. - Sep 2013
