Caracas - Post Report Question and Answers

What is the overall climate: is it extremely hot or cold, wet or dry, at any time of year, for example?

In Caracas, which is surrounded by mountains, it's 70-80F degrees year-round with little humidity. It's quite a bit hotter outside the city. The only difference throughout the year is whether it's rainy season or not. - May 2015

Perfect. It's not too humid but not too dry; not too hot and not ever cold; even in rainy season, it'll still be sunny most of the time. - Apr 2015

Excellent -- never too hot or cold: 65F at night and 80F during the day. Rainy season in Caracas is April - October, but it is not intense, with no hurricanes. - Sep 2013

The climate is mild and enjoyable all year. Because the city is relatively high in altitude, it is cool and comfortable; but as you travel down to the airport, which is at sea level, the weather warms up. - Aug 2012
