Georgetown - Post Report Question and Answers

What do you wish you had known about this particular city/country before moving there?

The school is not a good option. This reality was glossed over until we got here and realized how bad it was for us. We knew it needed improvement, and the facilities weren't great. We also knew there weren't a bunch of after school activities, but we didn't realize teacher morale was so incredibly low that teachers would be constantly quitting. In my opinion, quality of instruction is low and quality of leadership is lower, and I can't foresee that changing anytime soon. - Aug 2021

We didn’t know how hard that combination can be until we experienced it ourselves. - Aug 2019

I did not have a good grasp on the level of poverty and the amount of garbage that is around the city. - Nov 2013
