Are local sports classes and/or activities available for kids?

Yes, several. This is a good post for younger children, and possibly for older kids depending on what their hobbies and interests are. - Aug 2024

Yes, in the primary and secondary schools. I have not heard of any for preschool-aged children. The one dance school starts children at age four. - Jul 2013

Most sports programs are through the local schools. You can also sign up for swimming lessons at local pools, at least one of which is indoors and available year 'round. Kids can take squash, tennis, or horseriding lessons for a fee. - Jun 2010
