What types of jobs do most expatriate spouses/partners have? Locally based or telecommuting? Full-time or part-time? Can you comment on local salary scales?
Almost impossible, unless you can get a spouse job at the EBO. Jobs in the local economy pays peanuts. - Feb 2020
The EBO here is small so there aren't many jobs for spouses. Some spouses with teaching credentials have taught at one of the local schools. Salaries of course will be drastically lower than in the US. Never heard of anyone else working locally. - Aug 2019
Not really. There are volunteer options, but you need some Spanish for most of them. - Mar 2012
