In Brownsville there are lots of opportunities. The Rio Grand Valley is the poorest part of the US with much of the population non-English speaking, undocumented, and low-income. Due to the security situation in Matamoros, we do not have much freedom to be involved in volunteer opportunities at post. - Aug 2016
