Krakow - Post Report Question and Answers

What is the relative size of the expatriate community? How would you describe overall morale among expatriates?

You see all types here, thanks to Krakow's growing tech sector, though it seems we're all outnumbered by the British tourists on a regular basis. Morale seems good, with a little something for everyone. - Jun 2024

It's a big expat community. There are a lot of banks and IT companies doing business in Poland. Morale is quite high and it tends to be a tight knit, fun group. - Nov 2016

It's not a large expat community, but I think most people are pretty happy. - Mar 2014

Over 100. - Apr 2013

Rather small. - Sep 2011

Small. Krakow itself only has about 800,000 people. Work contacts are not likely to translate into friendships. Average Poles have no need for your friendship, and the small expat community makes it difficult, especially for kids. - Aug 2011
