What kind of car do you recommend bringing to post, given the terrain, availability of parts, burglary/carjacking risks, etc.? What kind of car do you advise not to bring?
There's no reason to bring a vehicle to Taiwan. There are lots here and with a residency card, one can buy a car. Toyotas, Mitsubishis, and Hondas are popular. - Aug 2011
