Is it easy to make friends with locals here? Are there any prejudices or any ethnic groups who might feel uncomfortable here?
Not easy to make friends with locals due to language challenges. Anyone who is not Korean is seen as "other". African-American colleagues have had negative experiences. Korea is a very rigid, hierarchical, homogeneous society. - Jan 2025
