Is this a good city for LGBT expatriates? Why or why not?
Yes, but very in the closet. Dance clubs allow for same sex couples, opposite sex couples, singles and groups to dance together, it is very free and accepting. Officially gays may be jailed, relations between Cameroonians and expatriates is dangerous and should be avoided at all cost. All gay and lesbian relations typically are between expatriats. In contrast Hetrosexual Cameroon expatriate couples are seen in a positive light. - Jun 2006
