What is your home city/country? How long is the trip to post from there, with what connections? How easy/difficult is it to travel to this city/country?

Washington DC. There are direct flights on Turkish Air from DC to Istanbul; if you're taking a U.S. airline, you have to connect in western Europe. The Turkish Air flight is by far the quickest and easiest being direct to Istanbul. - Aug 2021


For personal travel to Washington, D.C. you can take the direct Turkish Airlines flight, which is about 12 hours. Otherwise it is a 14-16 hour trip via Europe. - Sep 2017
