Are qualified veterinarians and/or good kennel services available? Do animals need to be quarantined upon entry to the country? Are there other considerations regarding pets that are particular to this country?
Yes, there are tons of well-fed and kept street dogs, and stray cats. We don't have pets but many Consulate families do, or adopt street dogs/cats when they arrive. Doggie day cares (with pick up services) are available, and most people with pets seemed happy with the care. - Aug 2021
