Maple Syrup, "poutine" and other unique French-Canadian cuisine, and, IMO, very nice artwork from local artists (heavily influenced by the outdoors/nature surrounding the city).Also, I think Ottawa has a nice eclectic collection of boutiques that offer some nice local/Canadian designers (at reasonable-ish prices). - Nov 2009
