The last king of Scotland (book and movie). The Atlas of forgotten place (Jenny D Williams) paints an excellent picture, especially of the northern part of Uganda and the heart-breaking past of that area. - Mar 2019

Queen of Katwe is THE best movie made about a slum girl in Kampala, and many scenes depict Kampala. Even Black Panther has scenes filmed in Uganda. Bird of Uganda is a great book - must have if you come here. - Jun 2018
