Granada - Post Report Question and Answers

What is your housing like? What are typical housing sizes, locations, and commute times for expatriates?

Typically apartments. Choose one as high up as possible, since the ones on lower floors are usually dark and noisy. Spaniards love tiled floors, which get really cold in winter. Furniture is usually flimsy. Many expats tried to find a place in the old Moorish quarter (the Albaicín), but remember that most places there are small, dark, damp and expensive. - Oct 2008
