Are preschools available? Day care? Are these expensive? What has been your experience with them, if any? Do the schools provide before- and/or after-school care?

Pre-schools are available and can be pretty pricey. There is a free program called Strong Start that is put on by a few of the public schools around town and requires the parents to stay and interact with their kids in a classroom. It is so much fun! There are a variety of preschools around town. The local community center has a drop-off program that is $10 an hour or you can sign up for certain days and times for a flat fee. The public school preschool program is 3 days a week for 2.5 hours a day for $300 a month. I did find one place that charged $700 for 3 days a week, 4 hours a day. So do your research before committing. - May 2017
