Travel to Kuwait from the U.S.A. almost always involves at least one stop in Europe or one of the Gulf hub cities. Kuwait Airlines has direct flights to New York. - May 2023
It takes about 20 hours to get from the US East Coast to Kuwait City with layover in Amsterdam or Frankfurt. There are some flights through Doha, Qatar that are about 15-16 hours. - May 2023
Arizona, no non-stop flights. We only went on one R&R (due to airport shuts downs and other restrictions at post). We went through Dubai and I cannot remember where we had a layover. - Apr 2022

Washington D.C. The trip takes a full day. The "City Pair" fare right now is with American Airlines which translates to either British Airways or Etihad. Neither allows pets, which makes you cost-construct. As a result, you will take either KLM or Lufthansa. So, either way, its about 7 hours to Europe and then another 6-7 to Kuwait. The Kuwait Airport is one of the worst, so get ready. - May 2017
