Managua - Post Report Question and Answers
What kind of vehicle(s) including electric ones do you recommend bringing to post, given the terrain, infrastructure, availability of parts, burglary/carjacking risks, etc.? What kind of car or vehicles do you advise not to bring?
Any vehicle that has high clearance, and preferably 4WD, if you want to go out of Managua. There are Toyotas everywhere here. - Feb 2024
High clearance is a must, 4x4 is best. We have an AWD Toyota Sienna, we purchased a kit online and had it raised 3.5 inches--it's awesome! - Sep 2023
