Skis - there is in fact one slope in the country; it even has lifts. They do make some of their own snow, but due to elevation, the slope can remain open until March. Also, it does get cold in Nicosia and more so in the mountains, so do bring some winter attire, both for living in Cyrpus and traveling regionally. - Aug 2022
