It's funny, we were so ready to leave in January (a lot of the personnel working in the Embassy are Type As), but now I really miss Moscow. I miss having seasons and the countless amounts of activities available and green places/parks to take our dog. - Oct 2014

I didn't have the choice, but no I would not choose it. Russians are reflexively cold, and it's difficult to meet them except at work. They instinctively distrust us and blame us for many of the ills affecting their country. The younger generation is a little more pro-American, but it's hard to meet the locals. - Aug 2009

Yes, it was such a learning experience, but as of now I don't want to come back. I might feel differently in a few years. If we do ever come back I will NOT live in Rosinka. That is one thing that kept me from enjoying Moscow as much. - Aug 2009

It wouldn't be my first choice, but not the last. Two years is perfect here. - Jul 2009

Most definitely! - Sep 2008

Yes, but I would investigate the school choice better before coming. - Aug 2008
