Are preschools available? Day care? Are these expensive? What has been your experience with them, if any? Do the schools provide before- and/or after-school care?
Yes, many options, in Russian and some in English. There are Montessori and traditional and some other types, no personal experience. Many families with babies and young kids come to this post. - Sep 2023

Options exist, but we have been generally disappointed with the selection among pre-schools. This is no Nairobi/Delhi/etc. There is no true montessori school (though several incorporate some elements of montessori system), there are some with waiting lists, and some seem to have questionable safety features. - Mar 2010
