Are local buses, trams, trains or taxis safe and affordable?
I only ever used personal transport. I'm pretty sure anything else is off limits to the consulate community. In any case, you could walk anywhere within the travel boundry. - Dec 2022

In Nuevo Laredo you probably don't want to take public transportation. Nuevo Laredo has an airport with several flights daily to Mexico City. Laredo has an airport with several flights daily to Dallas and Houston, and several flights weekly to Las Vegas and Orlando. - Feb 2016
