Are there any particular mental health issues that tend to crop up at post, such as Seasonal Affective Disorder (winter blues)?
The school I taught at was particularly stressful, and occasionally cultural differences would be very frustrating, but nothing that particularly applied to Jeddah specifically. - Oct 2022

The sun is very hot and intense, and individuals may get symptoms similar to seasonal affective disorder if they don't make a point to get out and be social during the hot times. There are lots of indoor activities, and shaded pools are refreshing during these times of year. - Nov 2020
