Wuhan - Post Report Question and Answers
Are qualified veterinarians and/or good kennel services available? Do animals need to be quarantined upon entry to the country? Are there other considerations regarding pets that are particular to this country?
No one at post now has a pet. I understand there are import and export restrictions that make it difficult. This year, it seems it's only gotten harder to move pets around. - Jul 2021
Veterinarians are pretty terrible, though they can do the basics if needed. I don't know about quarantine issues, but there was recently a crack-down on oversized dogs. They have a height limit and won't officially let dogs that big live in the city. - Jan 2020
