How would you describe the availability and cost of groceries and household supplies relative to your home country?
Groceries cost about the same as in the US. There is one major supermarket in East Jerusalem -- Jaafar's. It has lots of western products plus some good Asian ingredients. But you will probably have to take a trip to a supermarket in West Jerusalem once a month or so to get some items. - May 2006
