What do people who suffer from environmental or food allergies need to know?
Medications like Claritin and Zyrtec are readily available; epi-pens are not. It is prohibited for anyone other an a doctor to administer use of an epi-pen in Russia, so if you require one, you must bring it with you to post (and back-ups). There are a couple of epi-pens in the health unit at the consulate. - Feb 2020
Bring your meds with you. They sell Claritin and Allergra on the local market, but sometimes the quality is hit and miss. It'd be best if they are ordered from the States. - Aug 2018
