What kinds of gyms or other sports/workout facilities are available? Are they expensive?
There are lots of gyms all around. Many community members join the Los Lagos Country Club which includes a large gym and group fitness classes. - Jun 2023
The country club Los Lagos has a gym and there are various other gyms around the city. Los Lagos works out to about $250/month for a family to have access to the gym/pool/activities/classes but not golf. Golf adds about $150 for a family. Prices are cheaper for singles/couples. - Sep 2022

A downside of Hermosillo is that there isn't a lot of availability of green spaces or walking areas. They have more than made up for it in the wide variety of gyms and workout facilities. There is a also a very popular country club- Los Lagos - that most people join, with a gym, pool, golf course, etc. Prices are comparable to the US. - Apr 2013
Yes. There are many good options around town, so finding one nearby shouldn't be a problem. Most have the equipment you would look for in U.S. gyms and prices are also equivalent. - Dec 2009
