Sri Lanka is a lovely country and some people absolutely love it. However, it's remoteness can be lonely, especially during these Covid times when we can't leave the island. - Sep 2020
Fabulous posting, but make the most of it. Day-to-day life, like anywhere, can be frustrating as you learn to love the culture, but the Sri Lankans are lovely people, welcoming and warm and hospitable especially if you extend your activities and interests beyond just the expat groups and integrate yourself! - Mar 2017
