What is the overall climate: is it extremely hot or cold, wet or dry, at any time of year, for example?
Rarely rains, and then largely in summer. Winters are mild (by my upstate NY standards) and because it's so dry, it rarely snows. But can be very bitter and the 15 degree F. days can seem quite cold. - Nov 2007
