Are there problems with ethnic, race/racial minorities or religious prejudices? Gender equality?
No real problems for Westerners. Blacks are often viewed a bit fearfully, and other Asians are seen as somewhat less worthy than Chinese. Big Japanese, Korean, Chinese rivalries. However, I am an Asian-American and have never sensed any racial prejudice or hostility at all. - Nov 2007
