Are there any particular health concerns? What is the quality of available medical care? What medical conditions typically require medical evacuation?
Health care is good. There are numerous hospitals in the town. A friend of mine is having her baby in the Mahkota Medical Centre (the main private hospital). There are also better hospitals in KL and Singapore, not far away, for more specialist advice/procedures. - Sep 2007
