Are local sports classes and/or activities available for kids?
There are some but all in German, except out at base you can get them in English. - Jun 2024

Yes, if your child has learned German they will do beautifully in the local football clubs. Otherwise, after school clubs through the international schools or driving out to Wiesbaden near the base will be the better option for English speaking sport clubs. - Oct 2022

Here again the possibilities are endless. Many after-school programs offered at the school and clubs throughout Frankfurt and neighboring towns. Soccer, hockey, music lessons, art lessons, circus school, cheerleading, field hockey, parkour, etc. Children can also take advantage of sports programs offered on the Army base in Wiesbaden such as football and basketball. - Dec 2015
