Are there any particular mental health issues that tend to crop up at post, such as Seasonal Affective Disorder (winter blues)?

It is a long winter though the lake keeps things not quite as painful as other parts of Canada. It tends to be a more midwest winter in the sense that there is a lot of sunshine despite the cold temps. The short winter days do get old fast but the four seasons are nice to have. - Aug 2022
