What are some interesting/fun things to do in the area? Can you recommend any “hidden gems"?
We love Evora and the Convento dos Capuchos in Sintra, but there are a million museums, parks, etc here. - Apr 2021

Bairro Alto and Chiado are two downtown neighborhoods popular with the younger crowd. On the weekend, lots of people go to the beach (but you have to leave the city for the beaches and the drive can be a pain). - Aug 2011
