Sydney - Post Report Question and Answers

What have been the highlights of your time in this country? Best trips or experiences?

Sydney is picture-perfect when the weather is good. Just walking around the city is like living in a dream. The day trips were also excellent (despite the horrifying Hunstman spider sightings), and I loved visiting Melbourne (the BEST Australian city in my opinion), Perth and even Canberra. There is so much to see and do if you have the time and money. - May 2023

Would love to have something to offer here, but most of my time here has been during the pandemic.... Can't wait to get out more and travel! - Dec 2020

Tasmania, the Outback, Queensland, Melbourne. Take a road trip if you can. If you don't have kids and/or money is less of an issue, take advantage and travel to New Zealand, the South Pacific, or Southeast/East Asia. - May 2018

Certainly anything having to do with the great outdoors, the beaches and parks. Problem is there's not a lot of culture or history and everything is SO far and SO expensive that you tend to just stick around your area and after a while, it gets boring. - Mar 2015

People, travelling to many locations within Asutralia. - Nov 2014

Uluru, Kangaroo Island, Western Australia, proximity to New Zealand, and interesting wildlife you will not see anyplace else. - Sep 2012

Bush walking in the Blue Mountains, surfing at one of Sydney's many beaches, boating on Sydney Harbour, music and theatre events at the Sydney Opera House, and spectacular New Years Eve parties. - Jun 2010
