Narco violence is the biggest issues and can affect daily life. You just have to be careful and pay attention to your surroundings. Kidnappings do happen, robberies do happen, carjackings do happen. Fortunately, if you are smart, most times it does not happen to Americans. - Mar 2014

Roaches and pill bugs. They will invade your house if you aren't careful. Most of the doors in the houses do not close completed at the bottom, leaving about 2 cm space for bugs to crawl in from. We spray the doorways almost weekly to keep the bugs out. You will most likely have roaches in your water reserve so we spray around that also. - Jul 2010
