Are there any particular mental health issues that tend to crop up at post, such as Seasonal Affective Disorder (winter blues)?
Weather is the same the entire year, although the rainy season does fluctuate. November and April are the heights of the rainy season and it can get a little gloomy with weeks straight of cloudy and rainy days. When it is the sunny, the weather is Bogota is amazing. - Mar 2025

It’s cool year round in Bogotá. “Summer” is Dec- Feb. but it does not get that warm. Luckily you can escape to the lower elevation country side or fly to the coast for warm weather. - Feb 2021

I think there can be a little frustration with living in basically perpetual fall as the sunrise and sunset times only change by a few minutes over the course of the year. The weather doesn't change much either, though within a day, it can feel chilly or hot, depending on sunshine, shade and breezes. It rains often, but usually not for long. - Sep 2018
