What kinds of gyms or other sports/workout facilities are available? Are they expensive?
Virgin Active has two popular locations near the big malls. Memberships are reasonable. You can hire a personal trainer to kick your butt for a great value. - Jul 2024

There is a very large gym here called Virgin Active. It has several locations. They have a website for more information. A membership is less than your typical U.S. gym, but I would not call it inexpensive. - Jan 2016

Yes, high speed Virgin gym is available for about $40/month. For this price we get our teenagers included in the package. Pool, etc. - Jul 2012
