Herzliya Pituach - Post Report Question and Answers

Are preschools available? Day care? Are these expensive? What has been your experience with them, if any? Do the schools provide before- and/or after-school care?

There are local subsidized preschools starting close to age three, and other private day cares. We don't have kids that age but people seem to be happy with them. After school care can be tricky. The local kindergartens, Gan schools are used by expats. WBAIS early years is expensive. - Mar 2022

Like everything here, it is expensive. Few options in only English like Island Gan and Treehouse. We sent our daughter to the local preschool because it's free. It runs 8am-2pm with an option to pay for afterschool care until 5pm. - Sep 2021

I have not heard anything bad about the local preschools. Both English and Hebrew-speaking schools are available for expat kids. - Aug 2013

The embassy preschool seems to have a very good reputation. - Apr 2006
